Daytona Beach Charters

  • Charters are usually 1/2 day or 4 hours long.
  • Usually we depart at 730am and return at 1130am but allow a little more time as I will fillet up your catch in a zip-lock bag.
  • Your fishing license, bait and tackle are all included.
  • Most people bring a small cooler with drinks and a snack.
  • It's always hot so a hat, sunglasses and lotion help.
  • There are no additional charges.
  • Gratuity or tips are discretionary.
  • My boat can hold only 4 people , including me thus I can only take 3 of you per the Coast Guard tonnage rules.
  • Usually we depart from the boat ramp under the Dunlawton Bridge just past Donald's Bait & Tackle, Seabird Mobile Homes and Discovery Dive center down the road on the west side of the river under the bridge on the west side. If you get there early, chances are I'm in Donald's Bait & Tackle getting bait.
  • There is a halfway clean restroom under the Dunlawton Bridge but that's it for the next 4 hours.
  • We usually hit 4 different spots or more if I'm having trouble finding fish.
  • Brief showers I can outrun and relocate but if it thunders safety requires we stop.
  • I am CPR and 1st Aid certified but drinking water usually solves most problems.
  • Parking is free under the bridge as long as you don't park in the longer boat trailer spots. Port Orange Police oversee.
  • Alcohol and tobacco are OK as long as you control it. I neither drink or smoke but feel free to.
  • Cellphone reception is good at all spots we fish. I'll gladly take a picture on your phone or mine. All the pics on my pic page were taken that way.
  • I can identify about half of the flora and fauna(plants and wildlife) we see but always willing to get closer.
  • Dolphin,Manatee,Osprey,Turtles,Eagles,Hawks,Pelicans,Egrets,Herons,Raccoons,Snakes and  Seagull's are likely.
  • My life jackets are the orange bulky ones so if you have a child please bring a comfortable live vest they will wear for 4 hours. There is a Wal-Mart on Dunlawton Avenue in Port Orange between the boat ramp and I-95.
  • ‚ÄčTypically clients call or text me ( cellphone 386-299-2882) in advance checking availability and what we are catching. I'll answer all your questions, give you a cash price and text you pictures from the last charter as an idea what we are catching.
